Pixion’s executive management brings a wealth of experience from technology, Web conferencing and Internet-enabled software. The management team, together with the Board of Directors, is working hard to realize Pixion’s goal of becoming the standard for Web-centric business communications.

Robert Boese
General Manager
Robert joined the firm in 1996 as regional sales manager after more than a dozen years of sales experience. He was named general manger of Pixion in August 2000.

Robert previously was North American sales manager for First Global Enterprises Inc. in Fort Lauderdale ,Florida . First Global Enterprises is a parent organization for a dynamic network of professional claims support associations, each made up of hundreds of members across North America supporting the insurance industry in claims investigations.

While at the firm, Robert was instrumental in the development of two professional organizations, the National Association of Forensic Accountants and the Investigative Engineer Association.

He previously was an account executive, managing portfolios of stocks and bonds, with Thomas James & Associates in Fort Lauderdale .

Robert holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.

David Budd
Vice President, Sales & Business Development
David Budd has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and technology sector, holding senior positions in sales management, channel, and business development. At Pixion , David is responsible for sales revenue, channel development and the formulation of strategic partnerships.

Prior to joining Pixion , Mr. Budd served as Senior Vice President, Sales, Glowpoint Division of Wire One Technology, Inc.. Glowpoint is the industry first IP network for videoconferencing products and applications. Previously, he was the Vice President Sales, Eastern U.S. for Polycom, Inc., where in 4 years, he was instrumental in the successful development and expansion of the reseller and distribution channel for IP voice and videoconferencing products that grew from $47M to over $400M per year during his tenure. Budd came to Polycom through an acquisition of startup company, Via Video Communications, Inc. where he was a Vice President of Sales. Prior to Via Video Communications, Inc., Budd held sales management positions with PictureTel Inc. for 4 years with the last position being Director of Telco distribution sales. Budd also spent over 8 years, in sales and sales management positions, in the voice mail industry with VMX and Octel Communications. Budd holds a BA in Management from Iona College.

John Heng
Director of Engineering
John Heng was a member of the team that left the Silicon Valley supercomputer firm of nCube to launch PictureTalk in the mid-90s. In addition to his work at nCube and Pixion , John has been a configuration manager for Pure Atria in Sunnyvale and a senior programmer and analyst for UltraSys Private Limited in Singapore.

John holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science and an MBA from the University of San Francisco . He currently is completing studies for an additional graduate degree in e-commerce and is a member of the Association of Computing Machinery.
