Pixion respects your privacy. When using our sites, you may get information, access online products and services, communicate with us directly or link to other Websites with which we do business. This policy governs Websites and services owned and operated by Pixion, Inc. Our policy does not govern Websites of other parties to which we may provide links, because Pixion is not responsible, and can not control the privacy practices or content of those sites. To demonstrate our commitment to fair information practices, we have adopted leading communication industry privacy guidelines. Additionally, we urge you at all times to use caution when providing private information and suggest that you read the Federal Trade Commission’s suggested safety precautions for internet surfing.

• Pixion collects personal information when you register for a Pixion Hosted Services account or Free Trial, when you visit Pixion’s Web pages, and when you enter promotions or contests. Pixion may also receive personal information from our business partners.
• When you register with Pixion, we may ask for your name, email address, birth date, gender, zip code, occupation, industry, and personal interests, or other information. Once you register with Pixion and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.
• Pixion may also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, Pixion cookie information and/or the page you requested.
• Pixion uses information for three general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see, to fulfill your requests for certain products and services, and to contact you about specials and new products.
• Pixion routinely time-stamps and logs events (such as features used, number of participants, length of meetings.) This data is used for accounting/billing purposes as well as for performance tuning and optimization of the PictureTalk services.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

• Pixion will not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
• Pixion will send personal information about you to other companies or people when:
  • We have your consent to share the information;
  • We need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested;
  • We need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of Pixion to provide a product or service to you. (Unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the personal information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us.);
  • We respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process; or
  • We find that your actions on our Web sites violate the Pixion Terms of Service or any of our usage guidelines for specific products or services.

Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences

• Pixion gives you the ability to edit your PictureTalk account information and preferences at any time, including whether you want Pixion to contact you about specials and new products.
• You may request deletion of your PictureTalk account by sending an email to accountremove@pixion.com.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

If we change any of our privacy policies or practices, we'll post those changes to this policy statement at least 30 days before they take effect. In limited cases, we may be required to disclose certain information to comply with a legal process, such as a court order, subpoena or search warrant.
